We offer a course in making traditional Sami food, including methods of smoking reindeer meat. Here you can learn about different techniques for butchering a reindeer carcass, which joints work best for smoking, how to salt dried reindeer and other meats, choosing the right type of firewood, and the correct timing and temperature for creating the perfect smoked meats.

We run various tuition courses for schools and other visiting parties from a variety of institutions. Our culture is unique both from a national and international perspective. We base our courses around Sami culture, traditions, crafts, history, folklore, animals, nature and reindeer herding. We can also help you learn the Sami language.
